Dental X-ray diagnostics (dental imaging)

Dental X-ray diagnostics (dental imaging)

To complete the process and enable patients to receive comprehensive treatment without leaving the clinic, our practice is also equipped with modern X-ray technology.

Minimal radiation exposure combined with maximum image quality enables fast, simple, and highly precise diagnostics of dental diseases and other potential oral health issues. Together with a complete clinical examination performed by our expert team, it forms a reliable and accurate basis for determining the next steps in maintaining and improving your oral health.

For many years, we have also been successfully providing walk-in radiographic services for patients as well as fellow dental professionals with whom we maintain excellent cooperation (appointments are not required for imaging services).

In our X-ray department, extraoral imaging is performed using the latest generation device by Kavo (Kavo OP3D Pro ceph), which enables the following types of imaging:

  • 2D panoramic imaging (orthopantomogram for adults and children, bitewing program, sectional panoramic images, TMJ imaging, imaging of the paranasal sinuses, etc.) and cephalometric imaging (full lateral program, reduced lateral program, PA/AP projections).
  • 3D imaging in the following field-of-view sizes: 5x5, 6x8, 8x8, 8x15, 13x15, with various clinical applications (implant planning, endodontics, dental and facial bone fractures, impacted teeth, third molar studies, TMJ, maxillary sinus, various anomalies, etc.). 3D image processing and analysis is performed using OnDemand3D software, which is widely regarded by clinicians as one of the most advanced solutions.

Intraoral imaging (“small X-rays”) is performed using the Satelec X-Mind device, and the entire imaging process is very fast, as PSP plates and the Kavo Scan eXam One system allow us to obtain digital images on the computer within just a few seconds.
