ALL-ON-4 / ALL-ON-6
This procedure involves placing 4 or 6 implants in the jaw following a specially defined protocol, with the goal of achieving fixed teeth within 24–48 hours. It is performed under local anesthesia and is a completely painless procedure.
It can be performed on completely edentulous patients, as well as on patients whose remaining teeth are all indicated for extraction.
When performed on patients whose teeth are all indicated for extraction, all teeth are removed on the same day and the implants are placed. The implant positions are then scanned so that the patient can receive temporary fixed teeth as quickly as possible.
If the patient already has a full denture, it can be adapted and used as a temporary fixed solution. The alternative option is the fabrication of PMMA temporary teeth.
The temporary teeth should remain in function for 3–6 months while the implants integrate with the bone, after which permanent fixed teeth are fabricated — either metal-ceramic or zirconia.
This procedure is highly valuable as it allows patients to receive fixed teeth in the shortest possible time.
A sufficient amount of bone is required in order to perform this procedure.
Information about bone quality and quantity is provided by a CBCT scan, which can be performed within 10 minutes at our in-house radiology cabinet.
